Kids Biennale 2008 Event Details

Singapore Biennale 2008 is partnering with Jet Airways to present the inaugural Kid’s Biennale.

Designed to build new art audiences and broaden arts participation, Jet Airways support of the Kid’s Biennale will focus on the following main event:

The inaugural Kids’ Biennale invites all children from Primary 1 to 6 to pit their skills amongst the best in an on-the-spot art competition on 20th September at the historic City Hall.

The top young artists will stand to win prizes worth up to $38,000 including Jet Airways airline tickets to London and art school memberships from Little Art Bug Workshop.*

This art competition aims to showcase the inspiring creative energy of children and encourage expressions of artistic talent.

The theme of the competition will be revealed on the day itself and all entries must be submitted by 4pm, 20th September, 2008.

There will be 2 categories, Lower Primary (P1-3) and Upper Primary (P4-6).

Submitted artworks will be posted online for voting and be displayed at the Kid's Zone exhibition at the Singapore Biennale City Hall venue.

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges (Critics’ Choice) as well as by public vote (People’s Choice).
